I do not intend to pay the $25 appraisal and recording fee, title insurance fee or taxes on property that I do not own or want. The City Of Edmonds demanded nnd received a Quick Claim Deed for the property in question before granting approval for sub -dividing the origonal property at 21002 80th Avenue Vest, Edmonds, Washington. The City Council has agreed to vacate surplus street right-of-way adjoining your residence. This right-of-way would be vacated subject -to the abutting owners paying the appraisal and recording fees. It has been determined that the fee for each owner is $25. Upon submittal of the fee to the City of Edmonds,,Public Works Department, the City will file an Ordinance with the Auditor in Snohomish County. The title companies will then pick-up this information from the records.. You may then wish to contact the'title company for further arrangements to clarify any fee title interest you may have in the vacated right-of-way. In order to complete this action at the earliest possible time, it is requested that you remit the fee to the City of Edmonds by December 16, 1977.
