IV. REASON FOR REQUEST:
The Applicant is seeking to erect a privacy screen between his
residence and the neighbors parking area. The maximum height of
the screen will be 7' 611.
V. CONFORMANCE TO REVIEW CRITERIA OF CHAPTER 20.05
Comprehensive Plan
The proposed use does not appear conflict with the Comprehensive
Plan.
Zoning Ordinance
The proposed,use is consistent with the purposes of the zoning
ordinance and the RS-8 zone district. The screen will give
privacy to the applicant's residence and will not impact the
neighboring property.
Not Detrimental
The proposed privacy screen should not significantly impact the
neighboring property.
Transferability
The permit should be transferable.
VI. STAFF DECISION:
Staff finds that the proposal is consistent with the review
criteria of the code.

The requested conditional use permit is hereby granted, subject to
the following conditions:
1. The Applicant shall obtain a building permit.
2. The fence shall not exceed 7'6" in height.
This Conditional Use Permit is granted subject to the authority granted
the Planning Staff as outlined in Chapter 20.95.050 of the ECDC.

NOTICE OF RIGHT TO APPEAL
Pursuant to Chapter 20.100.010 of the Edmonds Community Development,
written appeals alleging specific error of fact or other grounds for
appeal must be filed with the Planning Department of the City of
Edmonds within ten (10) working days of the date of this decision. In
this matter, any appeal must be received no later than 5:00 P. M. on
July 7, 1987.
This permit must be acted upon within one year of the effective date of
approval or it shall expire, unless a requeest for an extension is
filed with the Planning Division.
