Paint Storage Room
The purpose of this letter is to inform you of the maximum paint quantities
that can be stored in the Paint Storage Room #029 before additional
containment measures must be employed.
The Paint Storage Room #029 will be considered part of the "Control
Area" which also encompasses the street and water shop bays. The control
area will be bounded by a one -hour fire -resistive occupancy separation
from the Sign Storage Room and the offices above. If the quantity of
paint/flammable material stored in this room does not exceed the amounts
listed below, no further spill containment or fire treatment will be required.

Based on our recent conversation, I understand that the City will receive
bulk quantities of paint materials during the summer months only, at which
time the.paint will be stored and mixed at a separate containment area
outside of the building.
Any future changes in the type or quantity of paint/flammable material
being stored in Room #029 should be verified through the Fire Department
to determine if any additional containment measures will be necessary.

reported. Additional health information may be found in
