I have reviewed your account and will allow a credit to your account from January through
February in accordance with our City policy. The policy states that the customer will be
billed at the retail rate based upon the average water consumption for the same period
during the previous year. In addition, the excess water lost from the leak will be billed to
customer at the City's wholesale rate with a 15% surcharge added for administrative cost.
Only one leak credit will be granted in any three year period.

Dear Mr. Holland:
I recently had a water leakage problem on the outside plumbing portion of our home. When I
came home the water was running out over my driveway and out to the creek in front of my home.
This was on February 17th. Apparently the water line had broken to my home. I called a plumber
over and he turned off the water at the meter on that Friday.
I have put in a complete new line coming from the meter to house. The work was completed on
February 21 st. I have enclosed a copy of the work order/bid from All Ways Plumbing who
completed the work as proof of repair. My bill is from 11/15/94 to 1/15/95. There also will be over
usage of water from 1/16/95 to 2/17/95. 1 would like to have my water bill averaged out and
credited.
