business has indicated that significant amounts of pollution, primarily
oil and grease, are entering the storm conveyance system that is
tributory to Halls Creek and Lake Ballinger.

C. Sewer Connection:
1. If the installation of the sewer was paid for by a local
improvement district, the connection fee shall be equal
to the zone front foot cost of like lots located within
the local improvement district which paid for the sewer
installation.
2. If the sewer was not installed by a local improvement
district, the connection fee shall be the actual cost
per zone front foot of installing the sewer. The cost
shall, be based on substantiated data and be calculated
by the zone-and-terml:ni method of assessment in *
accordance with state law. The minimum fee shall be
$300.
3. If the actual cost of installation of the sewer cannot
be accurately determined, the sewer connection feet
shall be at the rate per zone front foot set forth in
the following schedule:

trunk fee as set forth in the following schedule:
Single Family Dwelling: $25
Multiple Family Dwelling: $25 per unit
Other Facilities: $1 per fixture unit equivalent as set
forth in chapter 4 of the Uniform Plumbing Code adopted
by the City; $25 minimum
D. Right -of -Way Construction Permits.
1. Fees for permits shall be based on the location and
lineal feet of the construction as shown on the plan and
profile. Fees shall be paid to the city before the
permit is issued.
2. A fee of $30 for the first 100 feet and $5 for each
additional 100 feet or portion thereof shall be paid for
construction or excavation on fully improved streets
from back of walk to back of walk and on the paved
surface of partially improved streets.
3. A fee for construction or excavation within City rights-
-of improvements of the street
of -way beyond the limits
shall be paid at $30�'for the first 100 feet and $1 for
each additional 100 feet or portion thereof.
4. The right-of-way construction permit fees do not apply
to work being done in �treets being dedicated to the
City as a requirement of a subdivision.
5. A disruption fee shall be paid for an excavation to work
on underground utilities within five years of the
improvement of a street to City standards. The fee
shall equal five times the construction cost if the
excavation is made during the first year after
completion of the street improvement, four times during
the second year, three -times during the third year, two
times during the fourth:year, and equal to the cost of
construction during the fifth year. The Public Works
Director shall!"not-ify all persons with underground
facilit�ies in dli�y'lr'ights-of-way as soon as practicable
after the City decides to improve.a street, so that they
ma� coordinate their -work with the City and avoid any
disruption fee. Failure to receive notice shall not
p
eliminate the disruption fee if otherwise applicable.
