MEMORANDUM
Date: March 29, 1995
To: Sharon Nolan: Addressing Coordinator
From: John J. Westfall: Fire Inspector
Subject: 21314 Shell Valley Road Address Chanee
See attached request letter. See map page grid 155.
Fire Department feels this address number is best served by "Pioneer Way", and sequentially
proper from Pioneer Way.
There is confusion, however, because 21232 & 21230 (& 21314) Shell Valley Road
share access off of the same drive as 21234 & 21306 Pioneer Way (duplex). There is no multiple
address access sign for this drive. The street sign for the intersection of Pioneer Way and Shell
Valley Road is at the northwest comer of the intersection.
I spoke with Ms. Pace, the owner of the duplex. The owner/manager Mr. John Pace, may be
willing to change addressing for the duplex.
In this case, my suggestion would be to;
-post a Shell Valley (extension) road sign for the access drive;
-renumber Rev. Song and Mr. Pace's duplex to odd number addressing off of Shell Valley Road
(all addresses Shell Valley); and,
-identifv all addresses served with a multit3le address access sian.

Dear Sir or Madam:
I am writing in regard to the change in our address from Pioneer Way to Shell Valley
Road. We would like to change it back to Pioneer Way because of the numerous
problems we are experiencing as a result of the confusion over this new address. Our mail
is constantly delayed because it is being sent back to the post office or to the wrong house.
For example: a package that was sent by express mail in December 1994 did not get to us
until a week ago because it was sent to the wrong house. Another example is a card we
received late because it was sent back to the post office where they changed the address to
Pioneer Way.
We have had problems on a consistent basis ever since our address was changed. Apart
from the great inconvenience, I am also very concerned because some of our mail may
contain money or important information that can be easily lost in the process of being sent
back and forth between post offices and houses.
With these things in mind, please consider my request for changing our address back to
Pioneer Way. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
RECEIVED
