Local street improvement mitigation is not applicable to this project, as both 216th St. S.W. and Highway 99 currently have curbs and the developer is proposing sidewalk where it does not presently exist. I feel that the contribution for the light at 72nd Ave. W./212th St. S.W. should only be based on the number of P.M. trips generated by this development that would impact that intersection. The number supplied by the developer's traffic engineer is 24 P.M. peak hour trips. Using Bell -Walker's impact fee of $114 per trip results in a mitigation fee of $2,736.
