The Critical Areas Checklist contained on this forrn is
to be filled out by any person preparing a
Development Permit Application for the City of
Edmonds prior to his/her submittal of a development
permit to the City.
The purpose of the Checklist is to enable City staff to
determine whether any potential Critical Areas are, oir
may be, present on the subject property. The
information needed to complete the Checklist should
be easily available from observations of the site or
data available at City Hall (Critical Areas inventories,
maps, or soil surveys).
An applicant, or his/her representative, must fill out
the checklist, sign and date it, and submit it to the
City. The City will review the checklist, make a
precursory site visit, and make a determination of the
subsequent steps necessary to complete a development
permit application.
Please submit a vicinity map along with the signed
copy of this form to assist City staff in finding and
locating the specific piece of property described on
this form. In addition, the applicant shall include
other pertinent infor m-ation (e.g., site plan, topography
map, etc.) or studies in conjunction with this Checklist
to assist staff in completing their preliminary
assessment of the site

April 4, 1977
Following a petition by a majority of the residents in your neigh-
borhood', the City Council of Edmonds accepted the annexation in�
corporating your property, located at 21729-95th Avenue West,
within the City limits. Officially, the annexation became effective
November 6, 1976. The City has now transferred accounts from the
Alderwbod Water District to the Edmonds water system. Billing has
been converted to the Edmonds water rate and utility fee.
The major motivation for annexing to the City was to obtain avail-
ability for sewer hookups. Our records indicate that your property
abuts an existing sewer main and you are, therefore, required to
make connection. City Ordinance normally requires connection within
60 days. However, on annexation we allow for inclement weather con-
ditions and additional time for the home owners to make necessary
arrangements. We are establishing a date of July 1, 1977, as the
time in which you must have your residence connected to sewers.
Requirements for obtaining a Side -Sewer Permit are as follows:
1. Payment of connection fee. Please bring the legal
description of your property to the Public Works De-
partment prior to your request for a Permit so that
the connection fee can be computed.
2. Payment of $35 Permit fee.
3. Copies of all recorded easements (where applicable).
4. A plot -plan drawing of the proposed connection.
Side -Sewer Permits may be obtained at the Public Works Department,
200 Dayton Street, Edmonds, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and
5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

775-2525, extension 226, for any information or assistance you may
desire.
