BC) (Continued from June 21. 19 Mrs. Luster said this parking lot would be graveled and have car stops. It will be on the side of the building, and ADB approval will be required. The Engineering Department had given approval. Mrs. Luster said this use would be consistent with other uses in the area and would not create or add to a drainage problem in the area, the Engineering Department having approved a drainage plan for this site. She recommended approval. The public portion of the hearing was opened. Allen Morgen of Reid, Middleton A Associates said the reason for this temporary parking area is that it is anticipated that the owner will be expanding the facility and will lose parking to the west of the build- ing. The temporary parking was requested so as not to impact the existing congested parking along 2nd and James. Mr. Morgan did not expect the temporary use would be necessary any longer than one year. The Code provides for a one-year limitation, with the possibility of a one-year extension. The public portion of the hearing was closed.
