Introduction: Time Oil is the owner of an existing Exxon station and commercial building with Oi an additional tenant space. Issues: Design of the site, and landscaping have all been addressed by the applicant in Q X� their proposal, and the Architectural Design Board must determine the appropriateness of the proposal. E. Staff Analysis: 1. Building Design: The applicant is proposing a flat roofed, twelve foot tall, eight foot wide and twenty foot long steel storage container to be used as a storage building. a) Materials: The building is made of corrugated steel. b) Colors: The applicant has proposed to paint the storage building beige. c) Lighting: No lighting is proposed with this application. 0 d) �jjM: No signs are proposed with this application. 3. Site Design: a) Building location: The applicant has proposed to locate the building in the northwest comer of the existing asphalt parking lot. c) Landscaping: The applicant has not proposed landscaping with this application. Though the aesthetic appearance of the building may be as a temporary building, the City of Edmonds Community Development Code considers the building to be permanent. Therefore, a five foot wide .-MMI M M-M, mml�' 0 ADB-97-88 landscaped buffer is required to surround the building, and an extruded curb is required to separate the landscape from the asphalt. F.
