The contractor has sent the revised plans for the double doors to remain, in the mail. The original plans show a storefront.
I informed him that we would require panic hardware on that door because the owner keeps locking it to keep customers
from coming in that way. The panic hardware would alleviate this problem and still allow egress, if needed. Just an FYI.

Mike extended a correction bill until 8/22 yesterday to resolve the exterior storefront door issue at T&T. I spoke with
the building representative, Denny Au (714) 412-3398 this morning who explained to me that it is the tenant's
prerogative to resolve the issue and that he would prefer that the doors be kept. The approved TI had not shown the
(additional) doors, and these doors are not required for exiting purposes (exit signage has been removed).
In order to:
1) keep the doors per the owners request, and
2) maintain the doors usable from the inside per the Fire Department's request, and
3) avoid customer use from the exterior per the tenant restaurant's request to maintain single entry;
I proposed to Mr. Au that the key lock be removed from double leaves and panic hardware be installed. He was
agreeable. Locks & latches IFC 1008.1.8.3 exception #2 does not apply because the doors are not "main doors"
therefore "Door to remain open..." may/must also be removed and the administrative burden of unlocking the doors
everyday is removed.
Mr. Au will call the T&T restauranteur to let him know of our discussion. We should expect plans soon and I'd like to
review also. Thank you,

NOTE: System options do not cover all conceivable variations. They are listed here as a general guideline to show the most common type
arrangement for multiple systems, Based on certaln.system designs utilizing manifoldlng, non-manifolding, 3-tank systems, etc.,
other tank/cartridge combinations can be designed. The combinations below are based on 11 flow, 3. 0 gallon tanks and 5 flow,
1.5 gallon tanks. More competitive designs may be available by utilizing 12 flow and 6 flow systems when appropriate.
