Gentlemen:
DINO
6 - 7990
A four unit apartment or condominium building is being constructed
at V81 N-orthy. The Building contractor has used the
alley between 2nd an , d--3r-a avenue as part of the construction site
placing material there and generally abusing the alley with trucks,
tractors and other equipment. The alley has been damaged to the
point of needing repairs.
We request you not issue an occupancy permit until the alley is
properly repaired.

Edmonds, Washington 98020
Dear Mr. Alberts:
Last Wednesday evening (August 1, 1990), the fifteen Harbormaster Homeowners"
Association members voted to have the City of -Edmonds require the contractor
of the condominium being built two lots north of us to repair the east side
alley (between La Fave and The Harbormaster). The alley has been badly damaged
from the heavy vehicles and equipment used during construction. This alley serves
as a street, for it is the only access to our outside parking and La Fave garage.
Our Association, therefore, goes on record to have the alley restored to its
previous condition, this work to be completed before the city releases its final
inspection.papers on the building.
Many thanks for your prompt attention to this matter.
Sincerely,

Dear Mr. Puckett:

Our Engineering Division conducted a final inspection on the drainage
and paving portion of your project and after this inspection was
complete, we received two (2) complaints from people who abut the
alley, stating that the alley between 2nd Ave. and 3rd Ave. was damaged
by your construction vehicles. Our staff investigated the alley in
question and found there was significant damage to warrant repair.
This letter is to inform you that repairs will have to be made before
your structure can be finalized or the release of any more bond money.
You will be given two (2) weeks, beginning August 20, 1990, to complete
the necessary repairs. Please'contact Lyle Chrisman to work out the
details for repairing the subject alley.
