Dear Mr. Gnoinsky:
To confirm our conversation of December 15, 1978, we
can achieve vour desired results without encumbering agree-
ments and ii will keep your Building Permit alive longer.
After consulting with our Building Department, I
find that your Permit must be picked up within six months of
application or you may request an extension of another six months.
In either event you must start construction within one year of
picking up the Permit or start the whole pr - ocess again.
Since you applied on September 25, 1978, your first
six month period expires on March 25, 1979. By that date you
must request an extension or pick up your Permit. If you re-
quest an extension, you must pick up the Permit by September 25,
1979.

I am currently proposing to build a three unit condominuum
in Edmonds of which I will be owner occupant of one unit,
The building permit application has been approved and I
am seeking financing for the project, howevert due to the,
tight money situation It looks like the project may be
delayed approximately Aix months.
My problem is that the building permit is due to be picked
up by December 25i 1978 however, without secured financing
I cannot freeze the three thousand dollar allowance for Bite
improvements.
Would you please consider a waiver on this portion of the
permit so I may purchase the permit before the deadline.
When I am able to obtain financing I will gladly submit
the three thousand dollar bond required through my lender.
Without the waiver I will have to Incur a needless additional
expense of five hundred dollars for a three thousand dollar
insurance bond.
Time is of the essence in this matter, a prompt reply will
be very much appreciated, In the event,that you might
require additional Information I may be'.reached at the
