The condition of the above mentioned road, 75th Avenue 1,7estj has
deteriorated from very poor to absolutely d2ngerous!
'Shen the Water Department started th�'!ir current water main up-
dating, we presumed the r*ad w�uld be. p;yed upon completion of the con-
struction. But ;i telephone caU to the city engineer sooa endni that.TF13h-
ful thinking. We wern informs�d funds had not 'been allocated for the paving'
project.
We as tax paying residents living on this street find it very
difficult to justify the fact thpt 75th Avenue -West in paved oa the south
end 041st to 2.36th) and now on the north end (230th tm 75th Pl. W. ) b ut
2mazingly,, not the middle - 231st to 23.6th! Ho�T can funds possibly Rnd-
intelligently.bt allocated f.-)r portions of a street?
The city engineer teUs us that sometime this summer thn street
will be "seal coatedn. This was done. approxim-1--ly six years. ago and since
then, at variGus times, the chuck.holes, usually - brimming with 7ater, are
filled -.Tith asphalt.
Surely, paving that lasts for years defr2ya the co3t of trying to
maintain an impossible situation.
This road it a hazard ti the r-sidents that have to drive their
cars on it and anyone else thatso happens al*ng.-
Our first recownendation is that the council members drivetheir
cars . from 236th West to 230th West bnfore ev,!�n considering a d�!cisio I n! IVP
-rould apprteiate' our road.tax dollars being used -EAST of Hi�:hway- 99 alse�v
mainly 75th AvenueNest.
