SUBJECT: CLAIM FOR DAMAGES 23412 - 78TH AVENUE W.
RON MIZIMORI
On March 17, 1981, 1 was dispatched to investigate a flooding
problem that occurred when a cap from an 8" water main blew
off, flooding the yards of the following residences:

Upon inspection, the only residence to sustain a heavy amount
of damage was 23422 78th Avenue W., in which the yard was
flooded as well as the entire area under the residents house.
All residences' yards, with the exception of 23412 78th Avenue W.
were cleaned by City crews, 23412 78th-Avenue W. was not
cleaned as there was little yard damage, only a lawn mower
that was flooded by the water. I talked with Mr. Mizimori
and advised him that if he were going to file a claim that
he was to do so with the City Clerk's office.
There also was flooding in a parking lot to an apartment com-
plex located on 236th and 7800 block. City crews swept the
parking lot and the apartment manager seemed satisfied.
