SUBJECT: CITIZEN'S COMPLAINT REGARDING STREET ADDRESS
Last night I received a call from a Jack Wise at 23926 Edmonds Way
West, Edmonds, complaining that our Planning Department wants to
change his address to 80th Way. This is Jeanine he is talking about,
and he says he informed her: -that he has lived on this property since
1958 and it has always been Edmonds Way West for him and his neigh-
bors. Now the City is telling him they have to change it to 80th Way
and it doesn't make any sense to him. Also he says the City has now
come out and put a sign up that says 80th Way.
His question is, "What in the hell is going on, and why is the City
so insistent on changing these streets from addresses people have
al ready had. I talked to Mary Lou about this and she tells me it's
Ron Holland and his department that are making these changes.
