work and you will be billed.

Mr. Saterlie:
This'office represents Mr. Molvik. I am in receipt of your letter of
9-22-81 regarding right -of -way -construction on Mr. Molvik's property.
..,The original directions of Mr. Molvik to me were to contact the
contractor responsible for the work and have him repair the -work
and bring it up to code, as well as secure the necessary permit,
which was originally intended. Unfortuhately for my client, this
is not possible, since the"original contractor is about to enter
into bankruptcy and refuses to honor his commitment.
The work was originally done for Mr. Molvik by Diversified Concrete
Services, a Mr. Glen Johnson. The concrete work was to be done and
the necessary permits were to be applied for and handled by the
contractor. No information to the contrary was ever provided to
Mr. Molvik and he was unaware of the situation until he received
your 9-22-81 letter.
My client, Mr. Molvik, will be at your offices next week to apply for
the necessary permit and to make arrangements for the correction
work listed in your letter and enclosure. I was asked to write this
letter of acknowledgement so that you can know the circumstances
which caused the delay in the permit.

Sometime within the last few mont . hs the parking strip i . n.
front of your residence was paved with concrete. A search
of our records showed that n6.permits were issued or inspec-
tions made for the work done in the right-of-way.
On September 7, 1981 a Correction Notice was posted, on the
site, indicating a violation of City Code (copies attac46d).
The work that was done in the right-of-way does not conform
to city construction standards and has created problems that
must be corrected. A list of those corrections is attached.
It is'imparative that you contact me within 10 days of receipt
of this letter or city forces will be scheduled to make the
corrections and bill you for the expense.

2., Hydrant needs to be raised. (Contact Water Division
771-3202).
3. Lack of approved ADB parking plan.
