junior Super Single* pump switch installation instructions
MOUNTING THE SWITCH
1 . Determine pumping range for
installation (see Figures A and C).
Do not tether less than 3.5 inches
(9 cm) from pipe.
2. Tighten strap around discharge pipe
keeping switch cable between strap
and pipe to prevent slippage.
3. Space small ties at least 1 inch (2-5
cm) apart (see Figure 13). To re-
adjust ties, press small tie tabs
down.
4. To lock releasable tab, run
remaining strap between tab and
head. Tuck strap back through head
(see Figure B).

Mercury -activated,, wide-angle switch designed to
control pumps up to 1/2 HP at 120 VAC and I HP at 230 WA
This mercury -activated, wide-angle pump switch provides automatic control
of smaller pumps in non -potable water and sewage applications.
Although this switch is not sensitive to rotation, it is affected by turbulence
and should be mounted in a non -turbulent location.
The Junior Super SingleO is not recommended for use with motor
contactors or relays because the motor contactor or relay may experience
chattering. A Super Single" or Double Float" pump switchwould operate
more efficiently in these installations.

Enclosure meets Type 3R water -tight standard.
Ar Automatic alarm reset, horn silence switch, and alarm test switch.
Alarm horn sounds at 85 decibels at 10 feet (3 meters).
Alarm system (when installed on separate circuit) operates even if
pump circuit fails.
AF Complete package includes standard Sensor FloatO control switch
with 15 feet (4.57 meters) of cable (other lengths available) and
mounting clamp.
