Himilton - Addition to existing structure at M-1-4-aliTs tree t (BC) Mr. Wallis showed slides of the existing structure, stating that the main floor is used as a retail fishing tackle and accessory shop, and the second floor is a two -bedroom apartment. Mr. Hamilton, the applicant, presented plans to the Board stating that the addition to the existing structure would be used as a small commercial shop. There was general discussion regarding the proposed landscaping plans with Mr. Hamilton stating that hi also has plans for a sign and would submit an application to this Board at that time. B-39-74 Stevens Dental Center - Signing, landscaping and parking lot lighting - 7 th Avenue West. Mr. Wallis showed slides of the Stevens Dental Center pointing out that there is substantial mechanical equipment located to the front of the building that would need to be screened. Dr. Sogn presented signing and landscaping plans to the Board for their review. There was considerable discussion regarding the landscape plan with the question raised as -to how the mechanical equipment would be screened. Dr. Sogn stated they were proposing a solid evergreen screen in front of the mechanical equipment that would be trimmed or pruned to approximately 31�,- or 4 feet. Mr. Wallis asked if there was enough room in front of the mechanical equipment to create an earth burm. Dr. Sogn stated that there was some earth there now, but a burm would not be necessary with the proposed screening. The Board reviewed the proposed signing and parking lot lighting and found them to be acceptable. A MOTION WAS ITADE BY IMR. GOLDSMITH AND SECONDED BY MR. LATOURELL TO ACCEPT ADB-39-74. MOTION CARRIED. L.'_�B-40-74 William D. Barr - Addition to existing day care building Maple Bar Ranch (RML) Mr. Barr had previously made a request for construction of an octagonal building. Mr. Wallis stated that 1"Ir. Barr's request at this time is for an addition to the existing building. Mr. Wallis showed slides pointing out the location of the existing building and stating that the existing plants and shrubs would not be disturbed. Mr. Barr stated they would prefer to build the octagonal building, but they had run out of time in order to provide a new structure before school begins in September. There was general discussion regarding parking with 1-1r. Barr stating that the plans will provide for a drive through whereby the parents could drive in, drop the children off and drive on through. After general discussion of the landscaping plan, MR. GOLDSMITH MADE A MOTIOIN TO ACCEPT THE PLAN FOR ADB-40-74 AS SUBMITTED. SECONDED BY _MR. LATOURELL AND CARRIED.
