Dear Property Owner:
I have reviewed your account and will allow a credit for the last two billing periods in
accordance with our City policy. The policy states that the customer will be billed at the
retail rate based upon the average water consumption for the same period during the
previous year. In addition, the excess water lost from the leak will be billed to customer at
the City's wholesale rate with a 15% surcharge added for administrative cost Only one
leak credit will be granted in any three year period.

A suspected water leak at the above address was brought to our attention by Stephen Pick,
occupant, in early March.
Standing water at the site of the leak was thought tobe related to the development of an
adjacent property, which has had a noticable impact on the flow of underground water in the
area. Further, a leak in a neighbor's line, which was subsequently repaired, contributed to
—the standing water for some time -
We are requesting a credit for consumption exceeding normal use levels. The enclosed
water usages dating back to 12-92 will assist you in determining what is normal. Please
credit the account of Stephen Pick.
