We have received a complaint that a portion of your fir tree located at the northwest comer of your property is making it difficult for drivers to enter onto Caspers Street from Seventh Avenue North due to poor sight distance. City of Edmonds staff has investigated the matter and determined the tree in question does, in fact, create a sight distance hazard per Edmonds Community Development Code (ECDC), Street Obstructions, Chapter 9.25 (copy enclosed). In order to reduce the hazard and enhance public safety, the City of Edmonds is requesting that you trim off the lower ten feet of limbs of the tree. This should significantly enhance sight distance safety at this intersection. Please complete the trimming by August 14, 2002. Your cooperation in bringing your tree into compliance is appreciated. Some were only for covered inlets, others for plugged drains and creeks.. During the week of October 22 to October 26, 1979 all of these addresses were checked for possible plugged or trouble problems. Nothing was found to cause a problem.
