Also, it is anticipated that a refined design and cost estimate will be ready for Council review in early December. Councilman Gould stated that he had reviewed the contract and found a lot of checkpoints, and he was satisfied with it. City Attorney Jim Murphy said that there were some minor conflicts which the City Engineer had and also that he had, but they could be resolved. He noted that there are slide areas that must be included in order to get sewers installed, but there also are slide areas that for all intents and purposes have little or no value. Public Works Director Fred Herzberg responded that the trench drains will not go through the entire area, that it would not be a continuous line from north to south, so they are limiting it in MOTION: that sense. Councilman Naughten said he would be in favor of limiting the permit to 60 days, with a review at the end of that period.
