We have previously completed the project immediately south of this site and so are familiar with site soils. in addition, prior to our site visit, two test pits were excavated in the backyard of 403 - P Avenue North to allow us to observe subsurface soils. The test pits revealed that the proposed building area is overlain with three to five feet of loose gravelly silty sand which. has been deposited atop brownish -gray medium -dense silty sandy soil, We understand the entire proposed building area of the backyard was preloaded with more than five feet of fill during construction of the project south of this site.
