Wa. 98020 Gentlemen: 500 Paradise Lane: Edmonds, Wa. 98020 Nov. 10, 1983 The owners of The Spinnaker 12-unit Condominium at 500 Para- dise lane are very concerned about the removal of the sign at the corner of Paradise Iane and 6th Pl. South. This is a very busy area with traffic entering from Edmonds Way and leaving this family area to go out onto Edmonds Way. Since the stop sign was first er'ected about 6 years ago, the traffic has been further complicated by many cars coming and going from Olympic Reality. The children living down Paradise lane and 6th Pl South and extensions must pass this corner and wait for the school bus at the apex of Paradise Lane and Edmonds Way (right in front of the Olympic Realty); thus crossing this intersection twice daily. It is very true the cars are doing a'"California stop" at this sign. This has been the cause of many near crashes at this in- tersection. Also, when people enter Paradise lane from the south overgrown shrubbery on the southeast corner obscures vis- ion to the east. Please give the utmost consideration to this matter in (1) re- placing the former stop sign on the N. E. corner of 6th Pl. So. and Paradise lane or (20 establishing two signs on Paradise Iane at both north and south where the streets met in order to give safe exit and entry to Edmonds Way. Thank you.
