of the backfill material. The larger rocks shall be placed at the
base of the rackery so that the wall will be stable and have.s

that longitudinal axis of the rock shall be at right angles or perpen-
dtcular to the rockery face. The rocks shall have all Inclining
facce eloping to the back Of the rockery. Each course of rocks
shall be seated as tightly and evenly an possible on the course
beneath. After setting each course of rock. allmoide between
the rocks shall be chinked on the back with quarry rock to eli-
minate any void sufficient to pass . 2-Inch squa�e probe.
The wall backfill shall consist of quarry spallsivith a maximum
size of four (4) inches and a minimum size of tv�� (2) inches.

thickness between the entire wall and the cut orifill material.

WASHING I IF CONDITIONS ON THE SITE ARE SUCH THAT MOST OF THE HUD IS
NOT REMOVED FROM VEHICLE TIRES BY CONTACT WITH THE GRAVEL, THEN THE
TIRES MUST BE WASHED BEFORE VEHICLES ENTER A PUBLIC ROAD. WASH WATER
