Last fall, I purchased and moved into a comer home with the present address of 419 — 61h
Ave S. After living there for several months and giving the address to variety of people
to meet me at thatJocation, I 've found people have trouble finding the home. ft's
difficult for anyone, including 911 emergency services, to try and guess what the cross
street is for the 400 block of 6 1h Ave. S. q 6 0 1-1

In addition, the owner typically occupies unit # 1, which has a front door facing Walnut
Street, not 6 1h Ave.
Therefore, in order to shorten emergency responsiveness time (i.e. facilitating emergency
services to locate my home). and for structural reasons (i.e. the primary resident/owner
lives in the Walnut -facing unit), I'm requesting an address change to a Walnut Street
address. It would be an easy matter to put large visible house numbers above the front
porch on Walnut Street for emergency services or anyone* else to identify the home.
