maintenance, repair, reconstruction of replacement of a 6 inch sewer P ipe, over, across, through, and below
the following described property, and the further right to remove trees, bushes, und ergrowth and other
obstructions interfering with the I ocation, construction, operation, maintenance, repair, reconstruction or
replacement of said 6 inch sewer pipe together with the righi of access to the easement at any time for the
stated purpose.
The easement hereby granted is located in the COUNTY OV.SNOHOMISH, STATE OF
WASHINGTON, and is more particularly described as the following described property:
Between 8 feet west of the east boundary line of Lot 6, City of Edmonds, . BLK 095 D-00 and the east
boundary line of Lot 6, City of Edmonds, BLK 095 D-00 and 4.2 feet north of the south boundary line
of Lot 6, City of Edmonds, BLK 095 D-00 and 52 feet north of the south boundary line of Lot 6,

The easement area is depicted in the drawing attached as Exhibit A
Scot and Leah R. Simpson agrees to restore to substantially the original condition such improvements as
are disturbed during the construction, maintenance, and repair of said utility or utilities, provided the
grantors, their heirs, or assigns shall not construct any permanent structures over, upon, or within the
permanent easement.

SUBJECT: Repair Needed on 10" Sanitary Sewer Located on Your Property
Dear Ms. Bock:
Recently, City crews identified a collapsing tile located 92 feet due north of the sanitary
sewer manhole in the alley. This has been determined to be in the exact location of a
large fir tree, which is on your property. This tree will need to be removed in order to
repair the collapsing tile. The tree will be removed by the City, at our cost and then
repairs will be made to the sanitary sewer line.
I would like to schedule the tree removal as soon as possible. Please contact my office
as soon as you receive this letter to let me know when it would be best for you to have
this done. I would prefer that the work be done immediately, so restoration can be
done and your yard can be put back in shape for spring growth.

Resolution 488 for construction, reconstruction and repair
of deteriorated sidewalks. A public hearing will be held
in the Council Chambers at the Civic Center on April 21,1981

The areas needing repair have been marked in paint on
the sidewalk adjoining your prOT)erty. Reconstruction and
repair of these sidewalks Must be completed on or beEore
September 1, 1981. In the event improvements are not
completed within the above specified time, the City will
perform and complete the improvements at the expense of the
abutting property owner.
This action is in response to many citizen requests
and pedestrian falling accidents which have been increasing
in recent years as a result of sidewalk deterioration and
increased pedestrian traffic.
