APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF SEPTEMBER 18, 19go rITEM (B) ON THE CONSENT AGENDA
The minutes were approved with the following corrections submitted by the City Clerk: On page 4,
paragraphs 8 and 9 begin with, "Mr. Johnson .. ". In both instances, that should be "Mr.
Smith...", alluding to Bob Smith, whose testimony begins in paragraph 7.
There are two errors in dates that should be corrected. The first, on page 8, third paragraph,
is the meeting date change because of the election. The motion should read, "...TO MOVE THE
NOVEMBER 6, 1990 COUNCIL MEETING TO NOVEMBER 5 BECAUSE OF THE GENERAL ELECTION", instead of from
November 5 to November 4. The second correction is on page 9, third paragraph, regarding the
excused absences of Councilmember Jaech and Councilmember Kasper. Councilmember Kasper meant for
his absences of October 2 and October 9, 1990 to be excused, instead of September 25 and October
2.

UTILITY EASEMENT
IN CONSIDERATION of benefits to accrue to the grantors herein, the
undersigned, Mr. Salamonsen, hereby grants to the CITY OF EDMONDS, a
Municipal Corporation, a Fermanent easement for the installation,
operation and maintenance of a sewer over, across, through and below
the following described property; and the further right to remove
trees, bushes, undergrowth and other obstructions interfering with the
location, construction and maintenance of said utility, together with
the right of access to the easement at any time for the stated purposes.
The easement hereby granted is located in the County of Snohomish,
State of Washington, and is more particularly described as follows:
A parcel of land ten (10.00) feet in width, being five (5.00) feet
on each side of the pipe as it now exists or as located in the
future within the following described property:
That portion of Government Lot 2, Section 24, TWP 27, Range 3
East, W.M.:
Further described as follows: Beginning at a point on the East
line of Sixth Avenue North, 90.00 feet North of the North line of
Glen Street in the Plat of Brackett's First Addition to Edmonds,
per plat recorded in volume 8 of plats, page 47, records of
Snohomish County, Washington; thence Northerly along the Easterly
margin of said Sixth Avenue North 140.00 feet; thence Easterly
480.00 feet, more or less, parallel with said Glen Street; then
Southerly 140.00 feet; thence Westerly 480.00 feet to the point of
beginning.
Together with that portion of Government Lot 2 defined as follows:
Commencing 195.00 feet East of the Northeast corner of Sixth
Avenue North and Glen Street in the City of Edmonds to the true
point of beginning; thence East along the North line of said Glen
Street, a distance of 160.00 feet; thence at a right angle North a
distance of 90.00 feet; thence at a right angle North a distance
of 90.00 feet; thence at a right angle West, a distance of 160.00
