NOTE No. 3--Obtain full information regarding Ordinance 11.16.030 and Regulations governing side sewers when you get permit.
NOTE No. 4—Top, of side sewer must have at least 30 inches coverage at property line and 12 inches inside property line; minimum grade of 2%. No bends in grade
sharper than % will be permitted.
NOTE No. 5—Trenches in street must be water settled and surface of street restored to originaJ condition. Contractors shall be responsible for failure due to Improper
work which may develop within one year of completion.
NOTE No. 6---It is unlawful to alter or do any other work than is provided for in the permit, or to do any work on the main sewer or Its appurtenances except to , in-
sert the pipe into the wye.

Dear Lee:
You are hereby authorized to proceed with the side
sewer connection for Mr. Peugh at a cost of $60.pZus tax as
quoted in your letter of November 27, Z973. The'accompZishment
of this connection shall comply with the conditions as indicated
below.
Z. With the reciept of a connection charge fee in
the amount of $660, Public Works Department will
issue a no fee side sewer permit and trunk charge
for this installation.
2. Upon inspection of the installation by Public
Works Department and restoration to Mr. Peugh's
satisfaction, submit your invoice for the above stated
amount to the City of Edmonds Engineering Department
for payment.

SUBJECT: Impending Notice to Connect to Sanitary Sewers
Dear Resident:
With the.completion of the newly constructed sanitary
sewers,in the vicinity of your residence, the City will be re-
quiring you to make connection to the appropriate sanitary sewer
system adjacent to your property in the near future. By ordin-
ance, residents adjacent to a sewer main are required to connect
within 60 days of the official notice. Notices will be sent to
all properties in this area when the final assessment roll hear-
ing has been completed on Local Improvement District 191. This
should take place within approximately 30 days.
Since.your property was not.located within theLocal
Improvement District, you will be -charged a sewer connection
charge in lieu of a L.I.D. assessment. This letter, therefore,
is to advise you of the impending notice and to allow you
additional time to complete. your sewer hook-up.
You may, at any timeafter this date, connect to
sewers by paying the charges indicated at the bottom of this
letter to the Public Works Department, 200 Dayton Street, Edmonds.
If you have any questions on this matter, please do not hesitate
to contact us.

SUBJECT: Sewer Connection for James Peugh, 6518 lt0th Place S.W.

The City has installed the sanitary sewer mains under L.I.D. 191.
As part of the negotiations recently clarified by letters from the
City Attorney, the City will have Lee Wooley connect the subject
house to the sewer system. The cost of the connection will be
charged.to the L.I.D. project. Also as part of the negotiotions,
Mr. Peugh is to pay a $660 connection fee * The permit and trunk
fee is to be paid for by the City. Therefore, it is requested
that the trunk and permit fee be waived. Attached is a connection
charge memo reflecting the negotiated cost.
