The next day I contacted Day & Nite Plumbing, after ascertaining that the leak was not in the house. They spent an hour attempting to find the leak and after leaming we had already had to repair a leak in this same tun of pipe less than 9 years ago, recommended we replace the line. We agreed and they arranged for the electric and gas lines to be marked on Monday. Scott Highland, from your department, came to the door to report that the leak appeared to be worsening. He suggested I write this letter, after we received our bill, to ask for an adjustment in our next water bill, which would be large. On Tuesday and Wednesday Day & Nite put in the new line. We did not receive the next bill until late May. I am enclosing a copy of it and a copy of the bill from Day & Nite. I believe our last bill was large also, but that was already paid before the hanger was placed. Any adjustment would be appreciated, since the cost of the new water line was considerable. Hopefully, the new line will prevent any, more problems.
