2. Additional funding is identified for 1986 in the City of Edmonds'
Six -Year Transportation Inprovement Program.

'Last year during the hearings on Mr. Bilder's development
you expressed concern for a walkway along Meadowdale Beach Road.
I I am now planning the 1983 street and walkway budget, and I
believe that the City Council may be willing to assist in the
funding of this type of an improvement.
The normal procedure is for the abutting property owners to
pay the initial costs for this type of improvement, but since this
would be a benefit to more than just the local residences, I be-
lieve the Council would make an exception and fund one-half if the
neighborhood would be willing to pay the other half.
If you would like to pursue this matter further, please call
me at 771-3202, and I will prepare the cost estimates and include
this project as an item for our 1983 budget hearings.

West was layed too high. Therefore, it is my
recommendation that both driveway culverts be
relayed.
