Hopefully this will assist you in complying with the city's needs in the future. I have also enclosed the pertinent U.P. code of which the city has adopted as standards unless otherwise superseded by the Development Code for the city. Note that all hot tubs shall be drained to the sanitary sewer when it presents a risk of health or physical damage to adjacent property. When approved by the Public Works Water/Sewer Supervisor, waste will be allowed to drain to any surface area (Sec. (e) of U.P.C.). As per our discussion, you stated that in the future you will drain the hot tub to your shower stall located downstairs which will be acceptable. Thank you for your assistance in complying with this matter. Sincerely, Ron Holland Water/Sewer Supervisor Enclosures wordata\water\hottub • Incorporated August 11, 1890 • Sister Cities International — Hekinan, Japan MEMORANDUM DT: November 19, 1991 / v TO: Building, Engineering and Waste Water staff FR: Dick Mumma, Building official RE:.
