Applicant/Pr6yerky Owner Architect/Representative Noel Miller City of Edmonds Public Works Division B. Site Location: 7110 210th Street Southwest C. Introduction: The applicant has salvaged an existing covered pole building from another City Site, and is proposing to erect that building on the new Public Works site. The applicant is proposing to re -roof the building to match the existing buildings on site, and to paint the poles of the building to match the color scheme of the other buildings on the site. D. Background: 1. Zoning: The property is zoned General Commercial (CG). 2. Environmental Review: The existing development is not exempt from the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) and therefore all subsequent additions are required to comply with SEPA. However, the proposed pole building was considered in the scope of work for the Environmental Determination prepared for the original development. Therefore, the applicant and the City have completed the SEPA review process. 3. Issues: Design of the building, site, and landscaping have all been addressed by the applicant in their proposal, and the Architectural Design Board must determine the appropriateness of the proposal. E. Staff Analysis: 1. Building Design: The applicant is proposing to relocate an existing pole building from another City site to the subject site. The building will be approximately 23 feet tall and will be open on all four sides. The metal roof has a low pitch with a ridge running the length of the building. a) Materials: The applicant has proposed a metal building, with square metal posts and exposed metal rafters.
