Dear Sirs:
8ECElY_E
MAR 12 1992
CITY OF E:OMONm March 11,1982
Kindly note that we are inreceipt of your "Notice of Decision" concerning the determiniition
to allow approval for 8104 214th Place S.W. to occupy an office for Appliance repairs.
As you know 214th Place S.W. is a fairly quiet residencial street in which many children
are often playing games, etc. near the street. At this time we would be against any
action in which increased motor traffic could present an immident danger to these child-
ren.
We purchased our home at 8105 214th Place S.W. for our children could play and the adults
also could cross the street with a low risk of being involved -in an accident. Our
covenant in which all nine houses at the end of our street have a copy -clearly indicates
that these homes are single-family dwellings and that there will not be any commercial
applications concerning these homes.
We hereby stress that since the granting of approval for the home occupation to operate
even an office for appliance repairs violates our conenant and all the reasons for us
to purchase our home, we cannot approve of this grant. We hope that the planning depart-
ment will consider these reasons indenying any commercialism of 214th Street S.W.
If more information or reasons are needed to deny this petition, please contact us at
once, and we will attempt to supply needed information at your request.
