In reference to the subject application for development on subdivision
S-14-69, we find that a major drainage course exists through this property
and the Comprehensi.ve.Plan calls for a.channel to be designed to handle
12:2 cubic foot per.second. Please advise the applicant that an engineering
plan, prepared by a licensed professional engineer,is required for this

SUBJECT: STORM WATER CULVERT REPLACEMENT ADJACENT TO 9230
OLYMPIC VIEW DRIVE
Mrs. Street, owner of property used for subject culvert replace-
ment, would appreciate the following site restoration detailing_
accomplished:
1. move north half of wood pile to south side of
south half of said wood pile.
2. Move east end of plank walkway to center on
garbage cans.
3. Place additional sod as follows:
a. North of relocated plank to within
two feet of shed.
b. South of relocated plank to garbage can
area.
4.. Prune dying branches off tree.
5. Additional work on new streambed:
a. Even up south side of streambed.
b. Clean rock.
c. Line bottom with rock to match rock in
stream west of driveway.
6. Add matching rock to east part of streambed between
driveways.
7. Wash east entry of driveway.

We propose to furnish men, !eq!uipment, ,and materials necessary
to furnish and install approximately 45 If of 20"steel casing ( . 325" wall)
.to be installed next to an.)existing culvert for the city of Edmonds.
We shall excavate the.bore pit and install the -casing for the
lump sum price'of $4, 400. 00.. This price is for soils that can be drilled.
If it can not be drilled extra work will be charged at $1 , 500 per day plus materials.
The City of Edmonds shall. be responsible for the engineering,
water control, easments and access (ingress and egress), all
restoration, and backfill of. the boring pit.
Payment shall be in full within 30 days.
No bond to be supplied by contractor.
