Re: West Winds Condominium -Permits for rooftop decks at 325 Walnut St.
To Whom It May Concern,
We represent the West Winds Condominium Owners Association. We have received
correspondence from Mr. Leif Bjorback indicating that the Development Services
Department requires a letter of permission from the Association before the Owners of Unit
301 may apply for a permit to allow conversion of the flat roof areas adjacent to their Unit
into decks.
The Board of Directors for West Winds Condominium Owners Association has given Unit
301 Owners permission to apply for a permit allowing conversion of the flat roof areas
adjacent to their Unit into decks.
Subject to the City's willingness to issue a Permit to allow the roofs to be used as decks,
and to any conditions the City attaches thereto; upon a request from Unit 301's Owners,
the Association will schedule a meeting to separately consider modifying the
Condominium Declaration and Survey Map and Plans in accordance with the
Association's Declaration and Bylaws.
