The PRD ordinance under which tile extens i oil is sought
specifically prohibits this type Of development, Only single-
family detached homes are permitted in this zone. 20.35.060(A).
This provision at last recognizes thi, overriding importance of
preserving neighborhood characteristics. PRD 4-77 was never a
very good idea; now it does not ev( conform to the City 's
ordinance governing Planned Residential -Developments.
I believe this request should be dented. A more compatible
development can be designed. Those -of us who live'in the area
are willing to cooperate with the deve.lopor toward the end, as
we have been in .the past..
