Continued development of Shell Valley is not in the best interests of property
owners presently residing on the valley floor, residing on the single access
street leading to.the valley, nor is such development supported by a majority

of surrounding or ajacent property owners.
In view of the present problems within this area and consistent with the City,
of Edmonds intent for Shell Valley development, I personally urge, in the
strongest terms possible, that no further plats be approved in Shell Valley
until a city street providing a second access, logically from Pioneer Way to

Main Street, is a reality.
Accordingly, I am opposed to PRD-1-79 at this time and ask thetPlanning Commission
to -deny approval of this application.
