Dear Ebb Tide Homeowner,
This letter is concerning your request to remove some wall near the kitchen in your unit.
Thank you for providing the attached engineering report. The Board has approved of
your plan to remodel and remove the walls from the kitchen area. Please keep this letter
in your permanent files of proof of this permission.
The Board of Directors also reviewed your request for putting in hard surface flooring.
The Board has approved hard surface flooring in bathrooms, kitchen, laundry room and
hallway. The Board is not providing written approval at this time to put hard surface
flooring in the living areas or bed rooms.

Dibble Engineers, Inc. (DEI) conducted a site visit on January 9, 2019. The Ebb Tide Condominiums is located at 200 Beach
Place, Unit #502, in Edmonds, WA. The targeted unit is located on the fifth floor of a multi -family wood -framed building. The
visit took place in the presence of the owner, and the -as -built -drawings were available on -site to assist in our evaluation. The
proposed wall to be removed is located between the kitchen and living room area as shown in red in the photo below. The-as-

Based on our evaluation, the walls indicated above are non -bearing and acceptable to be removed.
Dibble Engineers' review is limited to the areas accessible and readily visible. Dibble Engineers did not conduct a
comprehensive building analysis for either vertical or lateral loads. Unless specifically discussed in our review, no other
