Gentlemen.
Please find attached a site plan os the above

personally
showing the existing location of Dough

We bring this to your attention, as a guide for you to use in
directing the contractor/developer in his site location

mi,nium units. Some contractors completely ignoreSuch
neighbors and the city of Edmonds, and scalp the land of all trees.
a case happened on the property directly to the south of this site.
We do not want this to occur on this property! We realize a few
trees must come down where the buildings are located; but we
he like
the 'largest Douglas fir trees to remain. Therefore we suggest
following action be taken:
A. The contractor/developer shall use a flourescent paint marking
each tree which is to remain.
B. The City of Edmonds planning commission, design board, or city
council (whichever board makes such decisions) along with
woodlake dr. residence to meet at the proposed site to examine
and clarify all trees which are to remain. This will be permit,
before the contractor is granted a clearing or building
or a notification to proceed with construction.
C. The contractor/developer is to take special care in riot damaging

existing root structure or tree trunks with clearing equip
such as bulldozers etc,
struction work to see that existing
D, City of Edmonds to monitor con
trees (shown on approved landscape or site plan) are to remain
and are not accidently out down!
E. The City of Edmonds Engineering Dept. to monitor the

so as no water drainage will damage woodlake properties
and after construction. prevent tree
F. Special care is to be taken in asphalt paving. to
root structure damage, leaving enough clearance between the edge
of the asphalt and root structure toallow adequate watering.
We have 46 Douglas Fir trees, which are over 50 years old, along with
30 plus alders, which give this plat a wooded effect.
f We fee by
thecontractor can develop this site and still keep u will help us
retaining as many fir trees as possible. We hope press my opinions
in attaing this goal. Thank you for letting ex
