Please find attached a site plan os the above � Alderetreesd project, personally showing the existing location of Dough measured the circumference and located each tree on this plat. We bring this to your attention, as a guide for you to use in directing the contractor/developer in his site location �eonaiof the of the mi,nium units. Some contractors completely ignoreSuch neighbors and the city of Edmonds, and scalp the land of all trees. a case happened on the property directly to the south of this site. We do not want this to occur on this property! We realize a few trees must come down where the buildings are located; but we he like the 'largest Douglas fir trees to remain. Therefore we suggest following action be taken: A. The contractor/developer shall use a flourescent paint marking each tree which is to remain. B. The City of Edmonds planning commission, design board, or city council (whichever board makes such decisions) along with woodlake dr. residence to meet at the proposed site to examine and clarify all trees which are to remain. This will be permit, before the contractor is granted a clearing or building or a notification to proceed with construction. C. The contractor/developer is to take special care in riot damaging g existing root structure or tree trunks with clearing equip such as bulldozers etc, struction work to see that existing D, City of Edmonds to monitor con trees (shown on approved landscape or site plan) are to remain and are not accidently out down! E. The City of Edmonds Engineering Dept. to monitor the hduring gam, so as no water drainage will damage woodlake properties and after construction. prevent tree F. Special care is to be taken in asphalt paving. to root structure damage, leaving enough clearance between the edge of the asphalt and root structure toallow adequate watering. We have 46 Douglas Fir trees, which are over 50 years old, along with 30 plus alders, which give this plat a wooded effect. f We fee by thecontractor can develop this site and still keep u will help us retaining as many fir trees as possible.
