We, the undersigned residents and owners of property at
the addresses stated hereby protest the preliminary design for Talbot
Park Estates as submitted by Edward V. Hendryk, Developer, and'Leroy
F. Middleton, Engineer, regarding a re -subdivision of existing lots
in Talbot Park being Lots 83, 84 and 85. Said protest is based upon
the City Code of the City of Edmonds and in particular No'..12.08.220
"12 08.220 Subdivision of land --•Requirements. (a) Land
which the Planning Commission has found to be.unsuit
able for subdivision due to flooding, bad drainage,
steep slopes, rock formations, or other features
likely to be harmful.:to the safety, welfare, and
general health of the future residents, and the
Planning Commission considers inappropriate for
subdivision, shall not be. subdivided, unless.adeq:uate
methods are formulated by the developer and approved
by the City Engineer."
11 (b) Those areas of the City, where topographical
slopes are ten (10) per cent or more, as,predete.rmined
by the. City Engineer, shall be subdivided in con-
formance with any additional requirements, which the
Planning Commission shall provide to any bubdivider
within ten (10) days after receipt of his request, which
shall be accompanied by a sketch map showing location.

appropriate departments by the Planning Commission."
In addition to the foregoing said application 'is in violation
of .the restrictions and limitation imposed on the original plat of
Talbot Park which said restrictions and limitations not only cover
the property in the proposed preliminary design far Talbot Park Estates
but also the property belonging to the undersigned owners„ Said plat
