. Six'Lot Subdivision
540 Edmonds Way

j Dear Mr. Driscoll :
i
We would like to voice our strongest objection to the planned
above subdivision. We do this with heavy hearts because we
culdn't imagine a nicer neighbor than Dr. Blandaugh, but we
feel we have no other choice.
Our reasons are as follows s
#1 LOSS OF PRIVACY -when we bought -our property in 1976 our
main goal was privacy. After numerous inquiries at the time
we were satisfied (also see #3) that this will. remain undis-
turbed. It is clear that proposed subdivision would:e:xid
j; #2 DRAINAGE PROBLEM - owing to the. topography and type of ,
soil considerable portion of the above property is draining
trough our property (west).Further load, inevitable with pro
posed road and houses construction would be intolerable to use
#3 LIMITED ACCESS HIGHWAY - Dr.. Blandaugh secured his access
to.the Edmonds Way by signing a contract limiting his drive-.
way to.service a single family residence only, for present
and future..Whatewer the position of the Highway Dept. (our
information is that they cannot and will not permit increased
use) we feel that six family use would create a clear traffic
hazard and that concerns us directly.
#4 LOSS OF TREES - pr.oposed subdivision would mean certain
loss of -most of the trees on above property and with them the
loss of existing noise screen this side of Edmonds Way.
In closing we would like to repeat that we are strongly oppo-
sed to this subdivision and are determined to fight it by all
fair and legal means at our. disposal. We sincerely hope that
Dr.Blandaugh will be able to sell his property without having
to cut it to pieces and leaving us wih the consequences.
