HEIGHT VARIANCE (FILE V-89-79)
Dear Mr. Gustafson:
Due to a neighbor's question about your house being built at
.7921 Cyprus Place, we have made another inspection of your site.
We found that your house is being constructed in a different
location than shown on the plot plan which you provided for the
Board of Adjustment meeting. The house appears to have been rotated.
about 90 degrees from the location shown to the Board when they
approved your height variance.
According to the City Attorney, your variance is good only
for the location shown on the plans in the file. If you wish to
exceed the normal height limit at the current location of the
1 house, you must file a new variance application. You may do no
construction work re uiring a variance until and unless a new
q
variance is approved.
In order to be heard at the Board meeting of March 19th, you
must file a new application by 5:00 p*.m., February 27th, containing
the following:
1.- A dimensioned plot plan drawn to scale, showing
the current location of the house (both wings),
the edge of the ravine,.and the building height
rectangle with corner elevations. Hal Reeves of
the Building Division can help you with the
building height rectangle.
2.' Dimensioned elevations drawn to scale of the
proposed house (both wings) showing.the level of
undisturbed soil, and the finish grade.
If you wish to pursue the new variance, you must file the
complete application as outlined above. The present situation is
largely a result of the incorrect plot plan and incomplete
elevations you turned in last time.
