AESI arrived on site as part of ongoing construction monitoring. Since our last visit, AESI observed that the contractor has
trimmed portions of the slope along the eastern property boundary as part of site preparations and preliminary grading. At the
time of our arrival, the slopes were largely covered with plastic sheeting but appeared to be at or near 2H: I V. AES1 observed that
the slope had been trimmed to include an approximately 4 vertical foot cut at the toe of the slope. The cut appears to be in general
accordance with the recommendations presented in our geotechnical report. Due to the potential for slope instability, it is
recommended that the slope continue to be observed by the geotechnical engineer until such time as grading activities flatten the
slope.
AESI observed generally soft subgrade conditions and ponded water in the central portions of the property. At the tinle orour
visit, minimal attempts have been made to stabilize subgrade conditions within the building footprint. The soft soils will likely be

disturbed frorn vehicle/equipment, traffic, across the site. We have been informed by the contractor that augercast piling equipment
will be transported onto the site on April 1't, 2009.
AESI will return as directed by the contractor as part of our construction monitoring services.
