RE: Angler’s Crossing- Utility placement within the plat right-of-way (P-05-
136/PRD-05-137)
Dear Andy:
We have looked at the current proposal that shows the re-alignment of the plat street
th
between 80 Ave W and Olympic View Dr and the location of the utilities. As
previously discussed, we would consider a reduced right-of-way width (to 50’) if all the
plat utilities, along with the re-routed 24” water main and 24”storm line, could be placed
within said proposed right-of-way with the proper clearances (this includes thrust blocks).
th
The 24” water main needs to run the entire length of the plat street and connect at 80
Ave. and not reconnect to the existing line as is shown on the drawing. Also, the 24”
storm line is not shown.
Please resubmit a preliminary layout, including a cross section of the street that shows all
the utility locations within the city right-of-way. Don’t forget there will also be street
lights within the right-of-way.
If all the utilities cannot be placed, including proper separation, within the proposed 50’
right-of-way, the specified 60’ right-of-way will be required.
I will be on vacation from September 11 to 27 and will be glad to discuss any issues you
may have when I return.
Sincerely,
Lyle Chrisman
