The subject application has been reviewed but cannot be completed until the following items have been
addressed/corrected. Please resubmit 3 sets of revised drawings to a Development Services Permit
Coordinator.

2.2/16/06 - Show the location of the existing water line and backflow preventer. Water service for the
coffee shop must connect between the meter and the backflow preventer. An RPBA with hot box is
required and must be installed per City Std detail E7.11. Placement of the hot box must be on private
property at the property line.
1/29/07 – After further discussions with Linda McMurphy, Cross Connection Control
Specialist, it has been determined that an RPBA provided inside the building would be
acceptable for this project. It is understood there is an existing RPBA on the main water line
for the car wash. You will be required to provide an additional RPBA on the branch from the
main water line to the coffee shop. Clearly show the location of the main water line and both
the existing and proposed RPBA’s.

A minimum distance of 12’ must be provided between the vacuum island and the steel awning.
