WRIGHT SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE AT 1040 PUGET DRIVE
Dear Mr. Wright:
I have reviewed your resubmittal for the above building permit application for the Planning
Division and it was found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications will need
to be addressed before review can continue:
I . Site Plan: The new site plan does not show as much information as the original site plan or
the grading/drainage plan. Please provide three copies of an updated site plan showing all of
the information from the grading/drainage plan. This must include topography, the outline of
the eaves, the proposed rockery (with top/bottom of wall elevations), the posts supporting the
second story deck and those supporting the roof over the covered porch, and the portion of
the second story that cantilevers over the first story.
2. Height Calculations: The datum point used for the height calculations changed with the
resubmittal; and it is difficult to read the elevation of this point. Please provide the elevation
of the datum point and confirm that the elevations of Points A through D did not change due
to the change in datum point.
3. Lot Coverage: Please clarify the lot coverage calculations. It appears that the portion of the
second floor that cantilevers over the first floor on the western side of the house was not
included in the calculations. Note that the entire footprint of the house must be included in
addition to the area of the covered porch, second story deck, and the stairs over three feet in
height on the southern side of the house.
Please redline plans or submit three sets of revised plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a
written response to each of the above items. Please make all submittals to the Development
Services Permit Coordinator Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to noon or 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. If
