The following information is needed to complete review of the application: Height Calculations 1.. Point B is shown on the site plan as 374.9 which corresponds to the topography, but the height calculations list it as 372.9. Please revise the height calculations accordingly. Also, the actual elevation must be added to the site plan. Datum Point 2.. The previous site plan identifies a utility pole in the NE corner of the property as the datum point, but it is not shown on the latest version of the site plan. Please add it to the site plan. Accessory Dwelling Unit 3.. This is for your information only; you do not need to respond. If at a later date you wish to convert the second level of the garage to livable space, it cannot function as an Accessory Dwelling Unit, a.k.a. mother-in-law apartment. An Accessory Dwelling Unit must meet specific criteria as identified in the Edmonds Community Development Code 20.21. In particular, it may not exceed 800 square feet in size. If you would like more information regarding the requirements, you can review the code requirements at the City’s website www.ci.edmonds.wa.us or contact our office for the available handouts. Please make all submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to noon or 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
