On behalf of the Engineering Division, I have reviewed the additional information submitted June 14, 2006.
Please respond to the following:
1.Please show in the Site Plan THE ACCURATE LOCATION of all existing utilities that serve this residence,
i.e. water line (include the type of material used), and sidesewer. You may obtain a copy of the AS-BUILT
for the water and sideseer at our office.
6/23/06 – The water service line from the meter to the house has not been shown.
6/23/06 – The location of the sanitary side sewer is different than what the asbuilt in our files
indicate. Please review the attached asbuilt and confirm the location of the side sewer. Please
respond in writing that the location shown on the plans is accurate or revise accordingly.
2.Are there any changes/alteration being made to sidesewer or the water service line? If so, please show their
new location and material in the Site Plan. Please note that a 6-inch clean out w/ locking cast iron lamphole
cover shall be installed at final grade at the property line for the sidesewer. If poly is used for the water
service line then a tracer wire shall be taped to it every ten feet.
6/23/06 – Please note, you will be required to TV the existing side sewer and provide a copy of the
TV record to the City’s Public Works Department for review. The Public Works Department will
determine if the condition and pipe material are acceptable for reuse.
6/23/06 – Please also note you will be required to have the Public Works Department TV the
existing sanitary sewer lateral (from the main to the property line) to determine if the line is
acceptable for reuse.

3.Please show/indicate the minimum Temporary Erosion Sediment Control (TESC) in the site plan. Please
refer to Edmonds standard details E1.1, E1.2, and E1.3. The note you have added is not adequate for
erosion measures.
6/23/06 – Please add a note to the site plan next to Ex. Landscaped area and Ex. Yard area that
these areas are to remain fully vegetated during the course of construction. If removed, a silt
fence installed per City standards will be required to be installed until grounds are vegetated.
Please resubmit three copies of the revised plans/documents to a Development Services Coordinator. JoAnne Zulauf is
