Staff saw that you updated your topography lines and height calculations in your resubmittal dated January 10, 2007. Please note that although the City's LIDAR data is deemed to be accurate, it does not substitute for field verified topography. Additionally, the applicant is responsible for verifying the topography in the field and for providing accurate height calculations on the site plan. The topography and height calculations shown on your site plan have been assumed to be accurate by City staff. A statement has been added to your site plan stating that the City's LIDAR data does not substitute for field verified topography. When your permit is ready to be issued, a permit coordinator will contact you. When you come in to pick up the permit, the coordinator will ask that you initial this statement on the site plan in order to ensure that you are aware that the applicant is responsible for showing accurate topography and height calculations on the site plan and that the City's LIDAR data does not substitute for field verified topography. Once construction is underway, the City's Building Inspector will inspect your project in the field to verify that the new construction does not exceed the maximum allowed height as shown on the site plan.
